So just about everyone that reads this blog already knows that Samara was born on September 17th. Everything went great! And soon I hope to have enough time to write and post her birth story. :)

37 Weeks!
So I just got done with a midwife appointment. I am getting really excited. Little bit is good, and still growing strong. She is VERY head down. All of my measurements are good, and everything is right on track. I have a few more projects that I want to get done this week...ie making curtains for the baby's room. I will post some pictures when I am done. I am really ready to get everything in its place and ready for her arrival.
One thing that I have been looking for, but can't find is a Birthing Sling. Imagine a mini hammock that the mother can slip her arms through and support herself in during labor. I really wanted one. But they are just about impossible to find on the Internet. So hopefully Bennett and I are going to make one. We will see. :) If I am able to accomplish this, I will post pictures of it too! Anyways, if you haven't yet gone to the site to cast your vote, please do so. www.bebepool.com/sdryden1029

35 weeks
Well, today I am 35 weeks! I can't believe I am almost done. It doesn't really seem like anytime ago that I found out I was pregnant, and here we are at the end of August. This year has just flown by.
I had a midwife appointment on Saturday and everything is looking good. Baby is good, and head down. Now we just pack on some more weight and wait until she is ready to be born. :)
I got my list of supplies today for the homebirth. Most midwives have there own list that they use. It makes me excited. I am ready to get everything together and set for the big day. Its going to be great!

32 weeks and counting!
Okay, well I have made it to 32 weeks. I just had my 32 week check up. Baby and I are doing great. Baby is head down, and growing growing growing. I have felt more tired lately, but that's probably just because I have been so busy. (Building castles is hard work....LOL) Next appointment I will get the list of birth supplies that I need, and everything will continue down the path of getting ready. And I am ready, I am ready to meet my new little one. Of course there is the same kind of thoughts that I get every time. I wonder what kind of birth experience that I will end up having this time....will I do better dealing with the pain. When will she be born. What will we name her, (haven't decided yet.) But I am excited. The next big thing that I have to tackle is finishing up her nursery. And really I haven't even started yet...but I will get there. :)

29 weeks and counting!
So I had my midwife appointment today. The baby is growing, and doing well. I am doing well, and have only gained 20 lbs so far. Yeah!
I have officially entered my third trimester....as of last week. And will start having visits ever two weeks now. I am getting excited. Not much longer and I will get to meet my new little one.
I still have a lot to do around here though before she makes her appearance. I really want to get the nursery ready, and decorated. I haven't had much of a nursery with either of the other two girls, due to moving, so with this one I am really looking forward to it.

25 Weeks and counting!
As I get closer to my third trimester I have been looking back at how fast this pregnancy has gone for me. I feel so blessed. This has been an easy pregnancy all in all. While I had my typical morning sickness till about 13/14 weeks, I didn't throw up but a couple of times. And since I have been really pushing myself on a very high protein, good for you diet, I feel great. Way better than I have felt with either of my other babies. I still have stuff. I get tired, but I just take a nap with Kayla. My back hurts, I put my feet up for ten minutes, and then get back to work. I have a hard time turning over in bed....okay, so I don't have a remedy for that one....I just try not to need to move to much. LOL
I just can't believe that it is almost over. I mean, I only have about 15 weeks left until my due date. It feels crazy. I have already started nesting I think. Which I never really did with Alyssa, and I only kind of did with Kayla. But I have this list of things that I want done before the baby is born. I have a list of things that I have to do between now and when the baby is born. Its all a little crazy. But thankfully my sister is going to come stay with me a few weeks between now and then, and has promised to help me get it all taken care of.
I still want to find someone to take pictures of the birth. And I would like to find another doula type person....since Bennett and I both really want him to be the one to deliver the baby, so I will need another person with me....I am a hand holder when I push. Just talking about actually giving birth is making me excited...I know, most people don't think of it that way...but I am excited. I have kind of always felt like, okay how can I do it better this time. I really look forward to the actual delivery...and there is nothing like getting to hold the baby for the first time. To finally get to meet my newest little one face to face. *sigh* There is nothing else like it in this world. :)

It's a Girl!!!
We had our sonogram last week, or was it the week before that? I can't keep up. It seems like everything has been one big blur lately. We are having another little girl! Can you believe it...three girls! We are all looking forward to meeting her. And I can't wait to get to really see her for the first time. Now we just have to come up with a name....hummmmmm.
